Looks great. Can you feel the edges of the derm or is it unnoticeable?

Soma,

I was a recent patient of Dr. R's and tomorrow marks my 6th week post-op. I can start everything tomorrow ... hanging, sex, everything. Before I get too wrapped up, though, I thought that I would ask a few questions concerning your post-op progress.

For starters, the belladerm stacks have always felt spongy which I have read will start to feel more like your own penis after a while. What's weird, though, is that after 6 weeks, it still feels like its not fully attached. I know that this is probably a great question for Dr. R, but it can't hurt to ask someone else who's done the same thing. After 6 weeks, did your bella still feel somewhat foreign?

Another question. My scar still somewhat burns when I do the weighted sleeve. Did this happen to you?

Last, Dr. R. said that in the stretching process, because I was a grower and not a shower, that I could expect up to 1.5'' in length increase and perhaps even more of a girth increase. Did he say anything like that to you and, if so, did it ring true or was it more of a happy thought for you while you were sitting there?

Eyecon,

It felt spongy in spots and has gotten better over time. I suspect this is a result of ingrowth. Hanging irritated the incision site; this went on for quite a while but subsided eventually. I don't remember exactly when but maybe around the 3 month mark. Go very slow and careful with the sex for a while-

As far as Dr R and expectations, he never made any promises but my impression was to expect around an inch. I initially achieved that and greater at the base, but ended up with .75-1.0 gain. As far as length, he told me with dedicated hanging for up to 1 year that I could gain 1 inch erect length. I'm almost there.

Thanks! After 9 months of stretching? Did you notice a further increase in girth or did that remain relatively constant?

@soma -
Congratulations on your results, it's making me re-think Belladerm vs. PMMA.

For your hanging routine, you said in an earlier post:

"I hang 13 lbs 1 hour minimum 2 days on one day off. I use the grip system."

Do you do the hour all at once, or do you break it into 15-minute chunks throughout the day (for example: morning, noon, afternoon, night). I ask because I'm trying to work out what kind of schedule could work with my schedule. I had to give up the all-day stretcher (Andro) bc it just wasn't feasible to wear that thing all day at work!

Thanks and congrats again!

tt,

With the lighter weights I was able to hang for long sets (30+), but now due to the heavy weight I hang for 25 minute sets, often doing 2-3 sets a day. I try to do the sets consecutively, doesn't always happen though.

Richard, the aesthetics are marvelous! How would you describe the overall function and feel of your penis at 6 weeks post op?

Thanks so much SO... The wife says its great feel and with the increased EG as others have stated it is not QUICKIE anymore.. She will get used to it she says... we are going slow... The hanging weight is another learning issue as i have only done manual PE.. I started with one lb and graduated the next day to 2 lbs.. The incision pulled lots the first two days. but now its fine.. ill continue w 2 lbs until this next Thursday. Then ill go to 3 lbs for 2x30 daily. Now the best part EG.. the base it 6.00 Plus alittle depends on how deep into my body i push the tape.. Mid shaft is 5.4 and 5.0 just behind the glans... in review all is well and the hanging is returning my EL back just in the few days and i will continue until i get to my goal EL 7.0... AGAIN thanks SO...I will post erect photos soon ..

Soma,

I'm very interested in belladerm but wondering about it feeling spongy long term or like fft. Does the belladerm feel as solid as a normal erection at this point? Any comments from the girlfriend/wife on hardness?

I starting to seriously consider having PMMA on top of the bella instead of getting another layer of Bella. I think the aesthetic is really improved and I'm beginning to be convinced of the safety. Plus, the downtime from the surgery and cost are more attractive, particularly the downtime.
