Thanks for sharing your experience nomad1 !

So if the Doctor wouldnt have made this mistake of putting in a graft, that is too long, then it could have worked out i guess ? So you gonna cut it back abit sounds simple.

Do you feel any pain due to that adhesion issues ? Or is the only issue the visual.
I cant imagen what it looks like "bunched up flaccid" would you mind a picture of that state you are in at the moment.

Does it bunch up because of the adhesion issues, or just generally because you are a grower ?

So that is one of our 3 voices of belladerm. Did Soma&Richard experienced something like this ?

Nomad1 can you shortly answer the scar question aswell.
Is it like a circumcision scar behind the glans or is it elsewhere ?
Aswell we are talking about Dr.Rosenthal, just to get this straight, right ?

Thanks so much!

There's another member who pops up on the site from time to time named Yardstick, who had also belladerm with Dr. Rosenthal.  He didn't have a great experience; if I remember correctly, most of the grafts absorbed leaving him with very little additional girth.  He also lost 3/4" erect length, which he was having a very difficult time regaining (in fact, I don't believe he did.)

Dr. X -

One incision now on top of base of penis in pubic area.
Any pain due to adhesion issues is very very mild and inconsistent.

i am doing great with the entire process that Dr R did for me... I have a super normal taper and my Eg at my body is 5.7 with stretches the wife just about too much.. She states that any more would be an issue... Meaning sure she would take it but its were she has the most pleasure now with out pain... Feel free to ask me any thoughts about any part of the process..

I understand very well about pain while stretching as I had it also... I lost length about /12 inch and wanted it back fast... Well the pain was such that I asked Soma about it, he said to relax and that i could stretch any time i wished. That took the pressure off so i just back offed totally... Then came pain when i would have erections... I just dealt with it and about a week ago I started to hang again with 5 lbs 3 sets of 20 minutes.. Oh to my surprise no more pain and wow my body EG measured 5.80 last night after being with the wife... ... The grip broke and as many say it is tough to get them to respond so that is my next challenge... I can use the sleeve that allows weight to be attached until i get parts...

2.Aswell what made you decide for pmma on top of the belladerm in general.
was your motivation, that you just wanted even more ? or where there diffrent reasons aswell, as to the belladerm experience itself ? (i dont mean money reasons)

@richard
hey there unfortunately i cant see your picture for some reason.
would you mind reposting it.
And even more important can i encourage you to create your own Belladerm-Progressthread. Myself and i bet others would greatly appreachiate it.

I am considering Belladerm in my theroy of Penisoperation over the PMMA.
All the users that i found here didnt have anything too bad  to share about the belladerm experience. ( users still here: "soma" "nomad1" "richard"  users gone: "theeyecon" "justave")

@admins
wondering if we can get subforums in the ProgressReportSection for the diffrent operations/treatments.

Candybars, Yardstick, Whitesnakeguy all had bad experiences with Belloderm. Interestingly they each went to a different Dr. They was also a guy who started posting just before MNS was closed down and he'd totally lost the feeling in the top half of his penis after Belloderm. Also, despite what Dr's might say, there is no difference of any significance between Bello and Allo, so you can include Nomad and Trying as members who have had poor results with this type of surgery.

Basically between 40-50% of our members who have had dermal matrix implants have had problems. This is why only 3 or 4 surgeons in the US do this surgery.

Just for the record. I sat down with three doctors and had them show and tell me their step by step process installing the Belladerm. Two of the doctors showed and explained they cut behind the glans and also at the body... Now Dr Rosenthal, he told me that he used to cut behind the glans but because of infection ( getting water ) into cut, he developed his own method to one cut at the body... There are a lot of concerns about healing and all three doctors said the same things... Keep the incision dry, do not masturbate, or have sex for at least 6 weeks. So my thoughts are there my be only 40 per cent but how can we really know  what each person during the 6 week period.

I had allo in '03 with no 'complications'.  Rosenthal was Dr.

I believe there is little to no difference between allo and bella.  It's a crapshoot but clearly highly dependent on your post care.  I didn't shower for two weeks after- I took the cleanliness thing very seriously (I sponge bathed).

I also believe all of these procedure should be viewed as having a life span... or at least expect to experience attrition over time.  FFT is dimishes the quickest- I never even considered it.  My allo was about 60% of original after about 8 years, so I had PMMA to pump it back up.  I personally think this is the best, logical progression if considering this route.  Having an initial graft or implant seems to create the volume and 'pocket' necessary for good results with pmma.  Others have had good results with just PMMA... but I think outcomes are as good or better with prior procedures (assuming they weren't seriously complicated).

Good luck with your decision.

Regards,

Rondo

Soma, i have a question. When did you see flaccid gains after the op?
Was it immediately after the op? After the healing was done? After the hanging?
Also how much did you gain in the flaccid state?

Have been gone for a bit, hence the slow response. I saw flaccid gains right away after the bella, but no erect gain until after some serious hanging.

I had Dr R's belloderm and lig cut in August 2010. I lost an inch post surgery but with weights regained what I had. At one year I was happy with length and girth. Between 1 and 1-1/2 years I noticed I was loosing girth, which I was ok with because it seemed more natural, but between 1-1/2 and 2 years I noticed that I was not only losing girth, but length. Then about 6 months ago it began to curl when erect.

Now I am 1" short then before the surgery 5", girth is down (I don't believe I get full erections anymore anyway) and it kinks towards the implant in two locations, about 1/2" from either end of the belloderm so the gland now curls back at a bizarre 45 degree angle.

I don't have sex anymore, the sight of my own erection depresses me so even in the morning as soon as I see it, it goes away.

I am considering having corrective surgery, I would like to have a relationship again in my life,

When I complete the work I am doing today, I would like to research the results of post op men, 5 - 10 years down the road. I believe the 95% success rate is likely 5% and I think it possible these doctors know this, but do not publish. On the other hand what is "success" in their eyes.

Glad to hear that some atleast have not yet had delay negative outcomes.

Thinking of changing my handle from "Justave" To "Nodick"

Justave very sorry to hear about your loss.

Have you spoken to Dr. R about your situation?  What did he say?

From the little research I did, it sounds like your body rejected the Belladerm then, encapulated & absorbed it..?

In my questioning Dr. R mentioned the complications he's seen is in Smokers.

Are you a smoker & in good shape fitness wise?

Hey Justave, after all of the years I have been involved with PE and PE surgeries there is no way there is a 95% success. I would agree that it is more likely 10% with Belladerm and Alloderm.

I think it is possible my body rejected it, can't say, it felt the right consistancy but never felt....integrated? My health has always been good, although very stressed over the last 6 months....mostly because of the curve.....I can handle have a small penis......I cannot handle having a curved one.

I have started using the grip system again....only one week in....I think it might be working.
