Update (01-02-2019)
I have added a picture of the scar tissues removed by Dr. Elist.  As you can see in the picture, a HUGE amount of scar tissues were removed. I would need some time to recover from this.

Update (12-05-2018): from now on, all my new threads would focus on the visits with Dr. Gelman at UCI Medical Center, and I would try to avoid mentioning Dr. Elist (since I no longer go to his Los Angeles office).

It would be much more productive for me to focus on my recovery instead of constantly criticizing Dr. Elist MD.  I would highly appreciate it if you guys could also avoid bashing Dr. Elist as you respond to new threads.  Thank you for your understanding.

Hi folks:

I am one of the men who got the Penuma implant.

I just want to show you one picture that I took about two days before the day Dr. Elist removed the implant (I was extremely stressed out and traumatized when taking this picture (because of the extreme pain)).

Just FYI, the red protruded area eventually went black (necrosis), and that portion of the skin had to be removed.

Here is a picture of the amount of scar tissues removed by Dr. Elist:

Today, I found a picture of my penis BEFORE the insertion of the Penuma implant.  I never measured the flaccid and erect lengths and kept records of the data. I knew that I was not big, and I did not see the point.

My penis is now much shorter after the removal of the implant.

Please do not give up if you are one of the victims.  Physicians like Dr. Joel Gelman at UCI Health have seen many Elist patients.  He will help you as much as possible.  Good luck!

Please also review Dr. Gelman's article on complications.  His article does address the Penuma implant!

Keep working at it and I believe you will get better. Look at all the options. I wish Hoddle and Miracle are more active now to give you some guidance.

I would write a letter to elist and send it registered and tell him you need your FULL money back including travel and so on, or you will file a law suite for mail practice and damages which will be much higher than money back. This is true.

If you contact a lawyer, I can be on the phone with you and him to help out in any way...You may PM me anytime. At this moment, I am in northern California.
Live Long and F*** Long 😉

elist FAILED Silicone implant and My report here: http://phalloboards.websitetoolbox.com/post/the-mustang-saga-elist-silicone-implant-prfm-pmma-and-then-5414806?&trail=15

The elist Silicone Implant is a failure by design, a disaster by Surgeon and a Let Down by the Medical board!, in my Unmedical, Unprofessional Opinion 😉

Thank you for offering to help me.  I truly appreciate it!  I feel a lot better now.

I would focus on my recovery as suggested by Dr. Gelman.

Christ. I'm so sorry for you. I hope you've recovered a bit since this picture. Is your entire shaft still black or has it regained some of its original coloring?

Thank you for the response.  Dr. Gelman MD examined me today.  It does not look pretty.  However, the coloring is not as bad as it was before.  After the implant was removed, the tension that's stretching the skin to the maximum disappeared.  As a result, the original coloring started to slowly come back (it does not look that scary now, thank God!).

My major problem is the penile retraction now.

My major problem is the penile retraction now.  I lost at least 3 inches of the original length.  Dr. Gelman wants me to wait for at least 6 months before I go under the knife (I might even need to wait for a year before another surgery).  The key is to be patient now.

Thankfully, I can still get erections!

*Just a few days before the appointment with Dr. Gelman, Elist spoke to me personally and tried to talk me out of seeing Dr. Gelman.  In the operative reports, he even had the nerves to blame me for the implant complications.  Screw him.  Oh well, I am not even sure if I would want to go through the trouble of finding a lawyer to sue him.  I just have to find a way to move on with my life.  I made the efforts to warn others, and that's good enough for me now.  I have to concentrate on my recovery.

*Good luck with your recovery, too!  After the implant is removed, you will recover much faster than you think.  If you need help, Dr. Gelman is a great guy that you could consider! Even a doctor from Texas was the victim of Elist and flew to CA to see Dr. Gelman!

What was your original Stats? EL ?

I never measured it and kept records. I should have done it. I am simply going by memory and estimation.

I never measured my penis before the implant insertion. However, I did upload a picture of my penis that had not been affected by the insertion and removal of the implant.

I was going to get the surgery on December 7th of 2018 and after reading all of these stories here I have cancelled. You see I was one of those people that thought bigger was better but after reading the recovery time, scar tissue, and a whole lot of things it made me think that it might be better off to just forgo the surgery and get a penile pump if need be. It all depends on something that is less intrusive because this surgery does not look safe to me

Penuma implant did not work for me.  It had to be taken out in only 4 months....

One of Dr. Elist’s Key moves is to blame the patient for any complications....

Holy shit. Thank you so much for sharing.

That honestly just scared the shit out of me. I’m making a removal appointment with Dr Alter tomorrow.

What actually happened with your implant? Was that an infection?

Also when did you first notice something was wrong? Did you just wake up one day and it was necrotic?
