Quote: Thank you for your attention to my post Miracle7,
Did you do any topical or intra-lesional before your surgery?
I would like to include the 15% topical verapamil in my routine chemical prophylaxis with objective for a possible fibrosis of the cavernous tissue that may have seen.
The traction and jelq techniques are nothing more than ways to injure the penis, then I think to do this no more sensible than I prevent this risky path to enlarge the penis
To know more about drugs and how to use them is part of the process.
If you can say something about some experience with intralesional and topical products, appreciate
I tried everything imaginable! Unfortunately, most therapies (ie: Vitamin E, Topicals, Iontophoresis, VED therapy, Thacker's Formula, etc are typically most effective during the acute/inflammatory stage of PD (within 1st year). A percentage of men will also likely experience spontaneous resolution of PD within that time-line irregardless of the therapy used and some may mistakenly attribute any treatment used for the regression of their PD.
Like many men afflicted with PD, I was embarrassed and didn't seek treatment as soon as I should have. I did make attempts during the acute/inflammatory stage and also afterward in the chronic/stabilized stage but with little to no success. I personally have found that if caught early, PD can be fairly effectively treated with combination therapy. I've also learned after suffering for 15 years, that most urologist don't know jack about PD. In fact, I've been told by the best andrologists and urologists in the world that my personal knowledge of PD surpasses most urologists. They just are not highly educated on the subject despite PD's prominence in today's population. VED therapy and traction can have some positive effect on a newly developed peyronie's plaque but only if combined with other medicinal therapies and ONLY under the supervision or guidance of someone knowledgeable in PD.
I owe my correction to Dr. Paulo Henrique Egydio of Sao Paulo, Brazil. A sincere, honest, educated, talented and caring physician who pioneered "Egydio's Technique" based on geometric principles to lengthen the short side and restore lost length and girth using transversal and/or longitudinal incisions or a single "relaxing" incision. Dr. Egydio is not only my physician, he is also a very good friend of mine. He and I share many of the same interests and beliefs and I am forever indebted to him.
If I can help you more specifically, please let me know.
Best wishes to you Carlos,
Thank you for your words and testimony,
I will keep you informed about my treatment.
