I am not performing any girth enhancement
procedures. The dermal fat graft procedure and Alloderm (cadaver skin)
work most of the time. However long term follow-up is
unavailable and some serious problems can occur. I have seen also
seen some serious problems with silicone injections and silicone
penile girth enlargements. Therefore, I will not be performing
any girth procedures in the foreseeable future.

Increasing penile length requires releasing the suspensory ligament
and wearing penile weights after the surgery. The release frees more
of the penis from attachments to bone, which may increase penile
length or give the illusion of length gain. This relatively minor
operation is performed through a 4-centimeter transverse incision
in the pubic hair. The patient may return to work in several days
and normal activity in about one month.

True length gain is only obtained by the use of weights. Length
gain from the surgery alone is usually only a centimeter. The
purpose of releasing the ligament is to allow more of the penis
to be stretched, which improves the potential overall length gain
achieved by the weights. Penile weights are worn several times
a day for 10-15 minutes, which stretches the released penis. Over
a period of at least 6 months, flaccid (soft) length is often increased.
Erect length gain is also possible.

A one-inch flaccid length gain is considered successful, but longer
gains are rarely possible. Each man’s penis varies, so no guarantee
can be made as to the eventual length gain that will be achieved.
Many men gain nothing.

Insurance does not cover the cost of the lengthening procedure
which is $5000. If you do not do heavy manual labor, you can
probably return to work in 4-5 days.

I can only do the surgery in LA.

Gary Alter, M.D

Messagemen just read your experience brother. It was very interesting! I cried in certain parts because I could relate very much. I honestly wish I could love my penis. Sometimes I do, don't get me wrong. Usually only when erect. My flaccid is the only thing that really dissapoints me. It shriveles up horribly, but sometimes depending on the weather or after the shower and tugging on it a bit looks wonderful.
