So I'm finally taking the plunge and scheduled an appointment w/ Dr. C on Dec 10th. Let's call it an x-mas gift to myself lol. I am a long time lurker on this forum who has calculated the risk/reward and is ready to take action. First an foremost, I am grateful to SO and all the admins who collected and grew such a vast wealth of information on this forum. There is nothing like it regarding the world of Phalloplasty. Also, to all the PMMA pioneers who took the plunge before me.

I will be getting the signature package done. Staying for two nights so hopefully can followup w/ the staff up until my departure from Tiajuana. I am in my mid-30s, married with kids. Statistically, I know I am on the smaller side and def a good candidate for PMMA. I'm hopefully looking to gain at least 1.25" in EG after 2-3 rounds....10% and 30% concentration base.  I've also been using the X4 Labs extender since July. Been average about 25 hrs/week...will up the time (35-40/week) in device next 3 months. Not in any hurry with it as I've heard people gaining in EL post-PMMA.  I've already gained .25 in BPEL after roughly 220 hours of use, only thing that has ever worked for me in the PE world. Also, I've noticed a ridiculous positive PI after extending, specifically with morning EQ.  Also on a healthy eating plan to cut some weight and tackle the dreaded "fat pad".

A question - how long before the procedure did you guys start loading your body up with collegen supplementation?

I started my supplements about 2 weeks prior to procedure and am very happy with my result. Good luck!

I have done a couple rounds of PMMA and have experienced a slight increase in EL. Could you share some more information about your routine/device, and if you were instructed to use it to help increase EL after pmma?

Girthup I would like to know more about your device as well! I’ve been using a homemade all day stretching device for a few months now, I stopped it to switch to golf weights for maybe close to two months and and back to the all day stretcher but I do switch off. I’m certain I’ve easily got well over 200 hundred hours. If I think about it, I’ve worn it full working days since around April I think? And I really don’t think I’ve seen much if any progress... so I’m really considering an extender. I don’t actually understand what the difference is between an extender and an all day stretcher other than most extenders point outward away from the body and stretchers like mine pull straight down. But since I’ve heard so many people say stretchers and especially extenders work there has to be something to it and maybe I’m missing something...

How much erect length have you gotten from the pmma? I’d love some more and especially girth. How was your overall journey? Any complications thus far?

I've got the standard x4 labs. I've tried the ESL ADS in the past, but it wasn't too comfortable. Personally, I think the main difference is the level of tension. The extenders always have a fixed amount of tension that doesn't not change with your body's movement. The ADS fluctuates as the body is in motion. In terms of golf weights, I know alot of thundersplace guys attributed alot of there flaccid gains with golf weights as a supplementation to their existing routines. Not sure about EL.

Good luck on the procedure.  I'm sure it'll go very well.  As for collagen supplementation, I don't subscribe to exogenous intake and it's affect on you post PMMA collagen growth.  In my research, the only statistically significant substance that would potentially enhance the PMMA collagen build up would be human growth hormone, taken daily before and after the procedure subcutaneous by injection.

I'm sure you're nervous and excited,  Avanti Derma is a first class operation and you'll feel at ease very quickly.

ahh okay, I appreciate the reply! I’d definitely prefer a comfortable extender as well. And the fixed/varying tension makes sense but when I was at a desk job I kept my legs stretched out for tension (always have for my knees anyway) and now I have a job on my feet most of the day but I kind of feel my homemade ADS is only stretching skin at this point which I don’t want foreskin personally. I go on thunders a lot. I’ve been a lurker there for a few years. I use the weights in hopes that I’ll heal in an extended state and not turtle. I’m not really after flaccid gains though. 

But yes yes good luck with procedure! Looking forward to your update and gains! I really want to make it down to Cervantes too at some point. Especially if this PE doesn’t pan out... I’m starting jelqs again and then after improved EQ will up the weights when hanging and probably try to get cialis as I believe if I can sustain erections for 3-4 hours (just shy of priapism territory) I might see some gains. Or at least to aid in my PE workouts but if that doesn’t yield results I really want to get my hands on PGE1 or trimix somehow... I’m still a bit wary on the PMMA long term since I don’t really see anyone with over 5 years experience here... seems like a lot of guys get what they’re looking for and don’t return too often once they’re satisfied. Makes sense but damn I wish more would come back for updates so we know how things are going at 10 years haha..
