11 weeks ago I had my suspensory ligament cut by Dr. Carney in Atlanta.  I wanted the filler done as well, but am way to lean to have Fat transfer, so I have to wait a few more weeks to get a artifical filler.  I have had a few people ask about me about the lig cut procedure and of course the results!

I am in my mid 40's.  I am an avid bodybuilder, and generally eat a consistent healthy diet,  and would consider myself a high energy person.  The reason I preface this information before I get started is this isn't a walk in the park surgery.   This surgery took place on a Tuesday and although I thought I would feel like myself in a few days, the reality I had to be very careful for about two weeks.

Why Surgery?  My FL on a good day was about 4 inches and EL about 5.5, however, I have horrible retraction, to the point its just down right embarrassing.  When I pull down my pants, I never know what I am going to see.  I thought this surgery might help me gain some extra length, so I would feel like there was something always in my pants.  lol  I have always wanted to be bigger down there, at 6'3 - 250 pounds, I just didn't feel like it is at all proportionate to my body size.

Surgery Day:  My wife and I fly in the morning (which btw, bring someone to help you out if all possible.  Knowing what I know now, I wouldn't attempt this procedure unless I could have someone help me for a couple days)  .  I got an AirBNB for 3 nights, as I had to stay till Friday so Dr. Carney could see me again for my follow up visit which was Friday.   I get to the clinic and was a bit nervous.  I met Dr. Carney in his office along with a nurse and another lady entering all this information into the computer.  So basically, you have your pants down the doctor examining you and 3 women in the room.  First time for everything!  lol  -   Doctor Carney examined me and said he thought I would be a good candidate.  He assured me that I came to the right place and that he would take good care of me.  These words really helped some of my anxiety, and I felt at this point I had made a good choice with him and I would proceed.   I was moved to a surgery room, which I thought was really small and not at all what I had pictured in my mind.  I got a bit nervous again, and the anesthesiologist showed up.  He asked me what procedure I was having done, and I told him.  He proceeded to put a needle in my arm to start the relaxation/sleep process.  He was having extreme trouble getting a needle to work in my vein.  It took him 4 different digging pokes at 4 different sites before he finally succeeded.  My veins are huge and he couldn't understand it.  He was about to ask a nurse to help, and then he said he finally got it.  After being poked (4) times and having someone dig in your arm and maneuvering the needle , I started sweating bullets to say the least.   It wasn't long and the medicine started to kick in and I was ultra relaxed.  Things were funny, and I remember laying on the table, thinking you paid 10 thousand dollars for this, and started laughing.  After a few seconds of laughing I woke up!  Surgery was over, and I was shaking like a scared Chihuahua.  They told me the shaking is normal and it will go away in a few minutes.  I was told that I have a drainage tube in me and that I needed to empty it daily.  They went over some post care instructions and told me to take my pain medicine and call if they have any issues.  At this point, I just wanted to get out of there and go lay in bed.  My wife called an Uber and off to our AirBNB we went.     I could walk decent, but when you have a 3 to 4 inch incision running vertically in your lower midsection, you definitely feel it.  We got to our room and I immediately took a pain pill and proceeded to the bedroom.  I took off my clothes and noticed that my dick was wrapped up and the tube was hanging out of me.  My dick looked longer, so I was like okay, cool.  Off to bed.

Post OP Day 1.  The night of sleep was terrible.  Still under some anesthesia and codeine, my post op dick  woke up hard 4 different times I remember.    I remember wincing in pain every time this happened, and took deep breaths just trying to relax to get this guy to lay back down.  I could hear the bandages stretching, and the pain coming on, however, I did pay close attention to where my buddy was pointing.  I had read a few horror stories that the angle can differ greatly with erections after having the ligament cut (I also remember Dr. Carney telling me, that you have to be careful with how far you cut, so this doesn't happen).  This wasn't the case here, as my dick was pointing up at me, almost like saying wtf did you just do.   I thought to myself, well this is good, as it appears my angle was pretty close to normal, cool.   Later,  I had to get to up during the night to urinate, the toughest part about it, was just getting out of bed, as I pretty much just used all upper body to raise myself and lower myself into bed.  Pissing was normal, just a lot of dribble, I suspect this was because of the bandages around the penis.  After surviving the night erections, I got up in the morning and had a pretty good appetite.  I ate a bunch of egg whites, turkey sausage, and laid back down and slept for a few more hours, just hoping for no more erections.   I had made plans that I would probably go walking around downtown Atlanta that afternoon, but I knew the way I felt, there was no way that was happening.

Post OP Day 2-3:  I was getting a bit of cabin fever.  I hadn't left the room.  I did get up to make my own food a couple of times, but my wife was by my side getting anything I needed.  I would get tired after standing any more that 5 to 10 minutes.  On Day 3 my wife was flying out to take care of some business, so I knew i needed to man up a bit more.  She left early afternoon on day 3, so I ordered Uber Eats for Dinner and went out to meet the driver in the parking lot.  I made the walk fine, wearing very loose fitting running pants.  I grabbed the sushi (btw this was a place called RA Sushi, very good!) from the driver.  The driver was very nice and asked if I was eating alone.  I smiled and said yep its just me tonight and gave her a tip to end the conversation pretty quick.  On the way back, I thought to myself, wouldn't it have been funny if I would have said no, come up, there's something I want to show you. lol   - Later that night the bandage wrapped around the penis started getting really loose, so I just unraveled it and started pulling back some of the dressing to see the aftermath.  I don't know a lot about surgeries, but felt like the closing up the incision looked pretty well done to my untrained eye.

Yeah brother, after listening to your results, I am hoping I just get a fraction of what you got!  Not really looking for the beat up bruised dick though, hahaha.

You might be able to fly home without a tube and a bulb.  I still had drainage in the bulb and had changed it out that morning, thus the reason he recommended I keep it in.  I have TSA Pre-check so I knew I wouldn't have to go through the scanner,  but asked him about airport security.  Dr. Carney just said, tell them you had hernia surgery and I would be okay.

Post Op Day 4:   I was excited about this day, I get to see the Doctor, I get this tube out of me, and I get to fly home and rest in my own bed.   I left my room at 11am and had to kill 5 hours before seeing the doctor.  I took an Uber to Starbucks in a very nice area of Atlanta.  I stayed there for a couple hours to catch up on some work, I felt pretty good after getting caffeinated and then started walking around to different stores, etc.  I started getting a bit tired around 3pm, so I sat down and ate a lunch and then called an Uber and made my way back to the clinic.  When I went into the clinic this time, there was a few people there.  I was early and was told that Dr. Carney hadn't arrived yet.  After about 30 minutes more people started showing up and the next thing you know this clinic had like 12 people sitting there and it was quite full.  I eavesdropped on everyones conversation with the receptionist and we were all there for the same reason, consultations, procedures, and then I heard a surgery as well.  So it appears business is doing pretty good.. 🙂  An hour went by and it was like 5pm, my flight left at 7pm, so I started to get a bit anxious, I told the receptionist that I had flight that was leaving at 7 and she said that the Doctor got held up and should be there any minute now.  About 15 minutes later I was called back.   Dr. Carney gave me a warm welcome and checked out his work.  He said everything looked good, but there was still blood in my bulb.  He said, lets leave this in for 5 more days.  I was a bit surprised, but he's the expert in the room, so I agreed.  I asked how do we got about removing it in 5 days.  He said no problem, gave me his mobile number and told me to call between 10am and 11am on Wed.  We talked for a couple more minutes and told me if airport security said anything, that I could say I had hernia surgery.   We then talked about stretching and he said this is key.  He suggested I start lightly stretching in a few days.  I didn't get a protocol from him on how much stretching, other than he said it is of great importance to stretch.  I had an ESL-40 that was given to me by Morganstern when I put my deposit down on the procedure and had used that for about 3 weeks up to surgery, and then I also had ordered a Phallason Forte for post op.  Overall a nice meeting and was glad I was cleared to go home.

Looks great so far! Keep us posted on your progress. I had mine done four months ago by Dr. Mark Solomon and gained close to two inches in flaccid length, nothing in erect length. I love the results and no longer feel self-conscious changing in the locker room. I am still using the weights daily and will do so for another couple of months!

10000 $ + a horrible scar + all other troubles that may arise during/after recovery for an inch or two of flaccid gain..? Glad it all worked out for you, and how lucky you were to have your wife by your side, but this procedure is pointless honestly.

Perhaps your reading and comprehension skills are lacking.   This forum is named "Patient Support Group and Progress Reports"   If you have had the procedure and didn't like it, post your journey and get the fuck off my thread.

I am trying to provide information on my journey so that I can help others make a decision if they are considering going down this path.  I haven't even commented if I recommend this procedure yet!   10k is all about perspective, at one time in my life it was a lot of money, now its not much to me at all, but I still understand its a lot to some.  You haven't even what my scar looks like yet, as I haven't even posted it yet.  Its assholes like you, that make me wonder why the hell I even take time to try to help others on the internet on what you call a pointless procedure, even though I doubt you had it done.

Post OP Day 5:  I get home and still not moving a bit slower than normal.  Unfortunately, because getting up and down was a bit slow, and still having a drain, I had to perpetuate the having hernia surgery lie.  I hate fucking lying.  I guess having a "dick job" isn't as socially acceptable as say "Having a Boob Job".. Anyway, I knew I was healing pretty good, but I had a trip to Cabo in a week, so I took it a bit more easy.  I also knew I was going to be getting in the water, and had asked about this to the Doctor.  I believe he said it was fine, just not be in the water for multiple hours.    So, later that day, I decided to go grab the tape measure and see what the initial changes were.   Now, I have not done any stretching, etc as I was waiting for at least a week, and I sure wasn't going to jerk on this thing  as I didn't want any things to rupture, before measuring.  I pulled out the tape and it looked like I had gained almost an inch (Previously when I had measured, if I stretched my boy I could almost get 4 inches, now I was really close to 5 inches with no pull, etc)  I also still had quite a bit of swelling still.  I had mixed feelings about this.  I wanted to be one of those guys that gained two inches right off the bat, but an inch for me was a 25% increase.  So, I had mixed feelings.  However, I knew I was early in the healing process, I also had heard a story or two that guys had actually lost length having a similar procedure.  One of the things that was pointed out to me by a member on this board, was that I didn't actually have the V/Y procedure.  If you look at the picture above Dr. Carney only went down one side of my shaft base.  So, this was going to be something I was going to ask him about when I talked to him again.   20190605_160514.jpg To be continued....

Hey,actually you've helped me alot. I wasn't sure before, but now I am,most definitely- this is ,by far, most overpriced, useless procedure at the moment, and no one should give their hard earned money to have a inch flaccid penis gain. Just keep reassuring yourself how you've made a good call.
