Not sure what category this best falls under..

But, after reading about Phallotox on this forum and then reading a few articles online, I'm definitely intrigued.

Has anyone had it done in the US? Or is it still in the trial stages? And if it is, does anyone know what Dr's are currently in the trial phase now?

Also, for anyone who has had it done, any input would be great. Shrinkage before/after exp,  how long the affects lasted etc.

I've read that thread. So far the only place I've seen offering it is Avanti.

I have a friend that does Botox injections, but she can’t find proper procedures for “phallotox”  she said it’s an off label use, if she can find a procedure she’s willing to try it. I just don’t feel like going to Mexico for something that might work.

Hi Guys,

I have used Botox twice as a treatment for erectile dysfunction (ED). There are a couple of papers from a Urologist  in Egypt explaining why it works - relaxing the muscle in the walls of the small arteries going into the penis allowing them to dilate (similar to an erection) so more blood into the erectile tissue. The studies show moderate benefit.
I think Dr C is using it for reducing shrinkage in PE which is a good idea and we are adding as an option to our regime. But Botox is terribly expensive here and we dont really know how much difference it is going to make. When we do it for ED we put an elastic ring at the base of the penis for 30 min to hold the botox in the erectile tissue. Would not really want to do that just after having injected filler so maybe we should do it a day/week earlier. Or maybe do it and then wait with numbing cream and ring for 30 min then do filler.
So much of this is still experimental.

Thank you for the reply Dr Oates

Shrinkage is the reason I'm in search of a doctor in the states for phallotox. I've always had shrinkage often, but after TRT it's much worse. I'm scheduled for Ellanse at the end of December but dont want less than desirable results due to shrinkage.

Does trt cause shrinkage? I’ve been on it for a year now and it makes sense i turtle worse I thought it was just due to age.

Sounds odd. I'm aware that it can cause some atrophy of the testicles but shrinkage/turtling doesn't sound logical?

The other think that helps with shrinkage is a medication called Prazosin, or other versions of alpha blockers used in high blood pressure or prostatic urinary obstruction. Yohimbe may help too.

I’m on doxazosin and daily cialis which does help a little.  I’m going to also get scrotal webbing surgery in January which I think is causing most of my retraction issues

I had testicular atrophy to the point I nearly had an empty sack. Part of the problem,  I believe,  is the TRT Dr. I was using wanted my test levels between 1500-1800. I was at 1600 when I slowly took myself off of it and I'm currently seeking another Dr.

At that point my shrinkage was at it's worse. But, it could have been mental.
